Sheep Genetics Advisory Group

Sheep Genetics Advisory Group (SGAG), formally known as SIL Industry Technical Advisory Group (SIL-ITAG), is a joint initiative between members of the B+LNZ Genetics team and industry representatives. The role of the SGAG is to provide a diverse range of viewpoints for engaged discussion that helps inform B+LNZ Genetics’ decision making. The members of the group provide objective industry feedback to aid the relevance and value of B+LNZ Genetics’ sheep genetics programmes within the wider community. The group meet up to 4 times per year to provide industry feedback to B+LNZ Genetics and to provide industry with a route to table ideas or issues relating to sheep genetics with B+LNZ Genetics
